The EU Heroes project team has recently published its policy recommendations. This policy document draws on a selection of best case examples from across the participating nations and offers key recommendations that are intended to be of use across the project members, the wider European context, and any organisations interested in community-owned solar PV.
Our vision is that energy communities play an important role in delivering a smart, flexible, zero carbon future. Delivering this future will require a policy regime that allows the development of new markets and models such as peer to peer supply of renewable energy.
