Second European partnership meeting at Swansea University in Wales, UK on the 23rd and 24th of April.
The EU HEROES Horizon 2020 community solar project is holding its second European partnership meeting at Swansea University in Wales, UK on the 23rd and 24th of April.
The meeting includes a stakeholder workshop enabling discussion between community energy groups, network operators and policy-makers around new approaches for network integration of solar. This will be the first stage of the project’s stakeholder engagement activity which aims to promote dialogue between energy communities and network operators to help find viable solutions for grid-integration of community solar projects.
A study tour of a mixed renewables and storage site and the Active classroom at Swansea University runs alongside the meeting and Welsh Government’s Senior Energy Policy Officer is presenting the host nation’s policy framework on energy and sustainability.
